About the Role

Gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance, functional testing, and test automation. You will work with project teams to validate business requirements, identify defects, design test scenarios, and automate test cases to improve software quality and reliability.

 

The selected intern(s) will assist in the following:

 

  • Analyse business and system requirements to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
  • Execute functional, negative, and edge-case testing to ensure application quality and reliability
  • Prepare test data and support testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Investigate, document, and track defects through to resolution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate system behaviour
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Katalon or Playwright after completing manual testing activities

 

About You: 

 

  • Final-year diploma student pursuing Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related disciplines

  • Basic understanding of software development and software testing concepts

  • Strong logical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages is advantageous

  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or SQL is a plus

  • Interested in software quality assurance, testing, and automation

  • Willing to learn test automation tools such as Katalon and Playwright

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn

  • Independent, fast-learner, and self-driven

  • Good team player with strong analytical and communication skills 

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team 

  • Passionate and keen to make a difference to re-imagine the future of HealthTech
