Job Description

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Change Management Engineering

Location: Vancouver, BC

Anticipated Start Date: January 2027

Contract Duration: 8 months

Work Hours: Full-time; 40 hours per week

What you'll bring

You're currently studying Computer Science or Engineering — or recently graduated — and you want hands-on experience building and operating cloud services at scale.

  • Current enrollment or recent graduation in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Applied programming skills in one or more languages — JavaScript, Java, C++, C, or SQL
  • Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with source control systems such as Git, Subversion, or Perforce
  • A customer-oriented mindset — you think about the people who rely on the services you build
  • An interest in web services and networking concepts — DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, or RESTful APIs — is a plus

We also look for people who communicate clearly, keep the customer in mind, and enjoy finding smart solutions to problems — whatever stage of your career you're at.

In addition to the role-specific skills above, all student and early talent positions at SAP look for candidates who are open to working with AI tools — including agentic AI — to automate everyday tasks, prototype ideas, and build confidence in AI-assisted ways of working from day one.

What you'll build

You'll work on the infrastructure powering SAP Cloud for Analytics — contributing to real operations and improvements from day one.

  • Provision, monitor, and operate cloud services as part of a globally distributed team
  • Analyze and resolve operational issues, and respond to incidents
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous service improvements
  • Partner with the product development team to design and enhance cloud services
  • Build and improve automation across testing, deployment, scalability, and service visibility
