The Role and Impact As an AI Software Engineering Graduate Intern, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing AI software solutions across domains such as computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and optimize AI software solutions, including algorithms, frameworks, and architectures. - Assist in implementing and fine-tuning deep learning models for improved accuracy and performance. - Explore model compression techniques such as quantization and pruning to enhance system efficiency. - Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop scalable AI solutions for system-level deployment. - Conduct applied research to refine AI methodologies and support hardware-software integration. - Document technical findings and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within Intel.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in the domain, including demonstrated skills gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training, OR a Master's degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience. - Proficiency in Python or C++ for AI software development and debugging. - Solid understanding of deep learning fundamentals, including large language models (LLMs). - Familiarity with model compression techniques such as quantization and pruning. - Knowledge of AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Preferred Qualifications - Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation to tackle technical challenges. - Passion for technological exploration, innovation, and practical engineering applications. - Experience in fine-tuning AI models, inference optimization, or agent development is a plus.
