About The Company
We are a global leader in conflict-free litigation economics. Fideres works only for plaintiffs and litigation funders, across the full lifecycle of a case: from early case evaluation and novel theories of harm, through damages modeling, class certification, expert testimony, and settlement. Five offices across the US, UK, and Europe: New York, London, Frankfurt, Madrid, Rome. Litigation is our entire business. Our independence is structural: there is nothing to wall off. What sets us apart: Global Impact: We provide expert work in major antitrust and financial cases across continents. Innovation: We are known for our technological expertise and innovative approach to complex, data-heavy economic problems. Thought Leadership: Our original investigations (e.g., in sewage dumping and Covid-19 testing) have driven policy change and garnered national press coverage. For 15+ years, we have been the trusted economic authority in landmark Big Tech, Big Finance, and Big Pharma antitrust matters. Our Financial and Securities Litigation team consults and testifies for plaintiffs in almost every major financial litigation globally.
About the Role

About Us

Fideres delivers effective economic analysis and testimony, turning data into courtroom advantage. As global litigation experts, we help law firms secure new cases and offer unbiased, conflict-free insights for complex and innovative disputes. Driven by rigorous analysis, we empower justice—for all—from case strategy to victory.

By dedicating ourselves solely to litigation-based economic analysis, we can provide truly unbiased assessments and maintain our commitment to objectivity.

We operate across the US, UK, and EU, through four fully staffed offices with a team of around 70 professionals.

The Internship

Fideres takes on interns throughout the year, whenever our teams and cases need extra support. Rather than run a single recruitment round, we accept expressions of interest all year round and keep a pool of strong candidates on file. When a place opens that suits your skills, interests, and availability, we will contact you directly.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for people who are interested in how markets work, and who care what happens when they don’t work fairly. You do not need to have studied economics, and you do not need prior consulting experience.

You are likely to fit well if you:

  • Are studying for, or have recently completed, a degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, law, or a related subject.
  • Are comfortable working with numbers, and with Excel at a minimum.

Experience with Python, R, Stata, or SQL is welcome but not required.

Why Fideres

Fideres’s vision is to become the leading litigation-only economic consulting firm, free of corporate conflicts.

Following years of growth, over the past two years Fideres has started to expand internationally and we now have offices established in London, New York, Rome and Madrid. We plan to open an office in Australia and to grow our presence in Germany.

We are looking for candidates, who are committed to Fideres’s strategy and values, and who are willing to grow in this phase of our company’s expansion.

How to register your interest

Please send us your CV via the application form below. Cover letters are optional but encouraged, as they help us understand why you're interested in an internship with Fideres.

We screen every submission. After that initial screening, we will let you know whether we are holding your application on file. When a place opens, we contact the candidates on file whose profile fits.

We keep your details on file for 12 months, then delete them. If no suitable place opens in that time, you are welcome to register again.

E-Verify Participation Notice for U.S. Applicants Only

After you accept an offer of employment and complete Form I-9, we will use E-Verify to confirm your eligibility to work in the United States. E-Verify is never used to pre-screen candidates or as a factor in hiring decisions. All U.S. applicants should review the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work posters, which can be found on our Careers page at E-Verify Participation - Fideres
