Votre mission, si vous l'acceptez :

Une offre de stage intitulée « Performance Management & Data Ontology Specialist (h/f) » vient de s'ouvrir au sein d'Airbus SAS sur son site de Toulouse (Blagnac).

Vous rejoindrez le département Company Performance Management. Notre équipe a pour mission de structurer, gérer et faire évoluer le système de gestion de la performance (Performance Management System - PMS) de l'entreprise.

Notre ambition clé : Définir l'Ontologie Centrale de Performance et la connecter aux ontologies métiers existantes pour fédérer les données, modéliser nos arbres de causes à effets et libérer la valeur ajoutée de l'IA.

Votre stage :

Vous jouerez un rôle charnière dans la structuration du modèle de données de la performance globale. En faisant le lien entre les ontologies fonctions métiers (Ressources Humaines, Bureau d’Etudes, Opérations, Finance, Chaîne Logistique, Qualité...) et le sommet de l'entreprise, vous permettrez à l'IA d'apporter transparence, prévisibilité et puissance d'anticipation dans la prise de décision.

Il s'agit d'un stage de 6 mois, débutant idéalement en février 2027 (date sujette à flexibilité).

Principales tâches et activities :

• Définition & Structuration de l'Ontologie Centrale de Performance :
  • Concevoir et modéliser l'Ontologie Performance Centrale, en traduisant les concepts clés de gestion (objectifs, indicateurs de résultats, leviers d'action) en objets et relations de données structurées.
  • Établir les ponts et connexions requis avec les ontologies et modèles de données métiers existants (Bureau d’Etudes, Ressources Humaines, Ventes, Opérations etc.) pour assurer une parfaite interopérabilité et une "source unique de vérité".
• Modélisation de l'Arbre de Performance (KPI Tree) & Causes-Effets :
  • S'appuyer sur l'ontologie interconnectée pour alimenter l'arbre de causes à effets de l'entreprise (KPI Tree), reliant les indicateurs opérationnels du terrain (leads) aux indicateurs de résultats au sommet (lags).
  • Formaliser la modélisation de la chaîne de valeur industrielle et mesurer l'impact des flux opérationnels sur la performance globale.
• Démonstration de la Valeur de l'IA & Prédictibilité :
  • Exploiter cette base ontologique unifiée pour déployer des cas d'usage IA / Analytics prédictifs (analyse d'impact, simulation de scénarios, détection précoce d'écarts de performance).
  • Démonstrations de valeur : prouver l'efficacité de l'IA lorsqu'elle est nourrie par un flux de production contextualisé, des arbres de causes-effets structurés et des données de qualité.
• Digitalisation & Pilotage Exécutif :
  • Contribuer à l'enrichissement du référentiel de KPI (KPI Store/Referential) et à la création de tableaux de bord de pilotage connectés et automatisés.

Compétences développées pendant le stage :

• Modélisation Ontologique de données : Conception d'ontologies centralisées et intégration d'ontologies distribuées/métiers dans un environnement type Palantir Foundry.
• Architecture de la Performance : Construction de KPI Trees et cartographie des dépendances causes-effets à l'échelle de l'entreprise.
• IA appliquée à la Gestion : Exploitation d'ontologies pour maximiser la pertinence des algorithmes d'IA prédictive et d'aide à la décision.
• Techniques de la Data : Programmation (Python, SQL), Data Engineering / Governance dans des plateformes Data modernes.
• Vision Systémique & Transverse : Interaction avec les différentes fonctions métiers de l'entreprise.

Votre Carte d'Embarquement :

Vous préparez un diplôme de niveau Bac+5 en École d'Ingénieurs, École de Commerce ou Université (spécialisation Data Engineering, Modélisation de Données / Information Systems, Data Science, Génie Industriel ou domaine connexe) et vous possédez idéalement :

• Cœur de compétences recherché : Forte sensibilité à la modélisation de données et aux concepts d'Ontologie / Knowledge Graph (capacité à lier des concepts métiers abstraits à des architectures de données techniques).
• Compétences techniques : Maîtrise des bases de programmation (Python, SQL) et appétence pour les plateformes de données intégrées (ex: Palantir Foundry).
• Capacité d'Analyse Systémique : Esprit analytique poussé, capacité à poser des diagnostics et à comprendre la complexité des flux industriels et organisationnels.
• Soft Skills : Esprit d'équipe, bonne communication orale/écrite (capacité à faire la pédagogie du modèle auprès des équipes métiers et exécutives) et autonomie.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: An internship position entitled "Performance Management & Data Ontology Specialist (m/f)" has just opened within Airbus SAS at its Toulouse (Blagnac) site.

You will join the Company Performance Management department. Our team's mission is to structure, manage, and evolve the company's Performance Management System (PMS).

Our key ambition: Define the Core Performance Ontology and connect it to existing domain ontologies in order to federate data, model our cause-and-effect trees, and unlock the added value of AI.

Your internship: You will play a pivotal role in structuring the data model for overall performance. By bridging the gap between functional business ontologies (Human Resources, R&D / Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, etc.) and top management, you will enable AI to bring transparency, predictability, and predictive power to decision-making.

This is a 6-month internship, ideally starting in February 2027 (start date subject to flexibility).

Main Tasks and Activities:

• Definition & Structuring of the Core Performance Ontology:
  • Design and model the Core Performance Ontology, translating key management concepts (objectives, outcome indicators, action levers) into structured data objects and relationships.
  • Establish the required bridges and connections with existing domain-specific ontologies and data models (R&D / Engineering, Human Resources, Sales, Operations, etc.) to ensure seamless interoperability and a "single source of truth".
• Modeling the Performance Tree (KPI Tree) & Cause-and-Effect Relationships:
  • Leverage the interconnected ontology to feed the company's cause-and-effect tree (KPI Tree), connecting operational ground-level indicators (leads) to top-level outcome indicators (lags).
  • Formalize the industrial value chain model and measure the impact of operational flows on overall performance.
• Demonstrating AI Value & Predictability:
  • Utilize this unified ontological baseline to deploy predictive AI / Analytics use cases (impact analysis, scenario simulation, early performance anomaly detection).
  • Proofs of value: demonstrate AI effectiveness when powered by a contextualized production flow, structured cause-and-effect trees, and high-quality data.
• Digitalization & Executive Steering:
  • Contribute to enriching the KPI repository (KPI Store/Referential) and creating automated, connected executive dashboards.

Skills Developed During the Internship:

• Ontological Data Modeling: Design of centralized ontologies and integration of distributed/domain ontologies within environments like Palantir Foundry.
• Performance Architecture: Construction of KPI Trees and mapping cause-and-effect dependencies across the enterprise.
• AI Applied to Management: Leveraging ontologies to maximize the relevance of predictive AI algorithms and decision-support systems.
• Data Engineering Techniques: Programming (Python, SQL), Data Engineering / Governance in modern Data platforms.
• Systemic & Cross-Functional Vision: Interaction with various business units within the company.

Your Boarding Pass: You are pursuing a Master's degree (Bac+5) at an Engineering School, Business School, or University (specializing in Data Engineering, Data / Information Systems Modeling, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field) and ideally possess:

• Core Competencies: Strong interest and aptitude for data modeling and Ontology / Knowledge Graph concepts (ability to bridge abstract business concepts with technical data architectures).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming fundamentals (Python, SQL) and a strong interest in integrated data platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry).
• Systemic Analysis Ability: Strong analytical mindset, ability to diagnose issues, and capability to grasp the complexity of industrial and organizational workflows.
• Soft Skills: Team spirit, strong oral/written communication skills (ability to explain and socialize the model to business and executive teams), and autonomy.
