About the Internship

As a member of our Civil Land Development team, you'll gain valuable exposure to the engineering, planning, design, and permitting processes that support residential, commercial, institutional, and public-sector developments. You'll work alongside experienced professionals and learn how multidisciplinary teams collaborate to create successful projects that positively impact communities.

What You'll Experience

• Observe the site development planning process and learn how engineers evaluate project feasibility.
• Gain exposure to site design, grading, utility infrastructure, and land development approvals.
• Learn about stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and environmental permitting requirements.
• See firsthand how engineers collaborate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Work alongside surveyors, environmental scientists, transportation engineers, landscape architects, and other technical professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop an understanding of how projects progress from initial concepts through design, approvals, and construction.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Interest in land development, site design, infrastructure, and community development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to work in our Allentown, PA office during Summer 2027.
