About The Company
PFASuiki is an independent startup dedicated to one mission: the total elimination of PFAS. Born from TDK’s legacy in advanced materials science, we combine the agility of a tech startup with the world-class engineering and financial backing of a global electronics leader. Our proprietary electrochemical oxidation technology doesn't just filter PFAS - it destroys it at the molecular level. Utilizing high-stability electrodes with extended operational lifetimes, we eliminate contaminants on-site across diverse streams, from industrial wastewater to landfill leachate.

Oberhaching (near Munich), on-site

About us

PFASuiki destroys PFAS, the “forever chemicals”, in contaminated water instead of just moving them elsewhere. We are a deep-tech startup with our lab and office in Oberhaching, south of Munich.

We are currently developing a system for treating PFAS-contaminated water. We are looking for a mechanical engineering student to work with us on its design and build.

Your tasks

You will work alongside our engineers. The main focus is practical work on the pilot plant.

  • Carry out the hands-on build and mechanical assembly of our system

  • Develop 3D models and technical drawings in SolidWorks to support the build

Your profile

  • Enrolled in mechanical engineering or a related degree

  • Experience with SolidWorks or a comparable CAD tool

  • Practical workshop or assembly experience, from university, a student team, an internship or your own projects

  • Able to read and create technical drawings

  • A careful, safe way of working with tools and equipment

  • Available on-site in Oberhaching for 20 h/week as a working student or 40 h/week as an intern

  • Good English; German is a plus

What we offer

  • Real hardware: you help build the plant that takes our technology out of the lab

  • Day-to-day work with experienced engineers, who supervise and support you

  • A deep-tech team working on an environmental problem to save the world

  • On-site in Oberhaching, near Furth station on the S3 line
