About The Company
Indorama Ventures acquired INVISTA’s North American polymer assets in 2011. Auriga Polymers produces polyester resins and specialty polymers currently used in bottles, trays, sheets, film and textile applications. About the Role

 

Role Overview

Support the Procurement team in developing AI-powered analytics, reports & dashboards to improve productivity and visibility of Delegation of Authority (DoA) approvals with up-to-date status reports and procurement activities across business segments. The intern will use business analytics, Python, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze approval trends, track daily activities, and support data-driven decision-making.

 

Job description:

  • Develop analytics reports and dashboards to monitor Procurement Delegation of Authority (DoA) approvals and approval trends across business segments.
  • Analyze procurement approval data, approval authorities, logs, and key performance metrics to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Explore and apply AI technologies and Large Language Model (LLM) tools to enhance data analysis, reporting, and insight generation.
  • Use Python to process, analyze, and transform procurement data for reporting and dashboard development.
  • Support data validation and ensure the accuracy and consistency of procurement spend analytics and reports.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful analytics solutions.
  • Prepare documentation, presentations, and recommendations based on analytical findings.
  • Explore procurement data and ERP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, to understand approval workflows and underlying business processes.

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Thai or international students are welcome
  • At least 18 years old
  • Good command in English
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Analytics, data analysis, and dashboard development.
  • Proficient in Python for data processing and analysis.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and LLMs, such as Claude and ChatGPT, for analytics and productivity.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA, is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven insights.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to explore AI-driven solutions for business improvement.
