About the Role

Company Description

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-tobe-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.

We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

Job Description

This role is based in our Amsterdam, Netherlands Office.

What you’ll do (60%): Retention & Customer Insight

  • Net new retention: Build a churn-risk score for first-year exhibitors and sponsors; flag at-risk accounts to Sales before rebooking opens.
  • Customer journey: Help us mapping the ‘net new’ customer journey end to end, from contract to rebook; find the drop-off points and propose fixes.
  • Churn & rebook insights: Analyse why customers stay or leave; turn findings into a monthly insight pack for BD and Sales leadership.
  • Sales process & CRM: Improve Salesforce data quality, pipeline hygiene and conversion reporting (together with Sales Ops).

What you’ll do (40%): Process & Digital Enablement

  • Communication streamlining: Audit pre, during and post-event customer comms with Commercial Marketing; cut duplication and sharpen the message.
  • Ancillary web development: Support content, data and testing for customer-facing digital products and pages (with Commercial Marketing).
  • Event-led BD: Support the CPHI Frankfurt 2027 sales cycle with account research, outreach lists and follow-up analytics.

Key Priorities

Help us build the net new retention model

  • 100% of net new accounts risk-scored; at-risk list with Sales before rebooking opens

Help us map the net new customer journey

  • Top drop-off points identified, with fixes agreed with Commercial Marketing

Streamline customer communications

  • One customer comms calendar; fewer, sharper touchpoints per account

Deliver the ancillary web priorities

  • Priority pages and digital products live, together with Commercial Marketing

Qualifications

  • Analytical storyteller: Turns complex data into clear narratives and actions (dashboards, presentations).
  • Curious problem-solver: Asks why customers behave the way they do, and validates ideas with data.
  • Collaborative communicator: Works across Sales, Marketing and Ops; comfortable in meetings and with senior stakeholders.
  • Ownership & initiative: Takes a project from question to result without waiting to be asked.

Additional Information

What makes this role Unique

🎯 Real Impact from Day One: Your analysis decides which customers we fight to keep, and how

📊 Master the Commercial Stack: Salesforce, churn analytics, customer journeys and digital products. Skills that travel anywhere

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with Sales, Commercial Marketing and Operations, and present to senior leadership (not just observe from the sidelines)

🌍 Global Exposure: Work on CPHI, one of the world’s largest pharma event portfolios, with international teams across time zones

This is an opportunity for 6 months, based on availability.
