Wolf Pack Athletics is an Omaha-based nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for athletes through sports, mentorship, and community support. Through fundraising efforts, the organization helps provide scholarships and financial assistance to athletes, making competitive and recreational sports more accessible to families regardless of financial circumstances.

Our family of programs includes Cheer Athletics Omaha, Dance Athletics Omaha, STUNT Athletics Omaha, AEF Basketball Academy, and the Omaha Supernovas Hype Squad. From youth sports and elite-level competition to professional game-day entertainment, Wolf Pack Athletics brings together athletes, coaches, and families who share a passion for sports, teamwork, and personal growth. Position Overview

Wolf Pack Athletics is looking for a creative, motivated, and energetic Media & Content Creation Intern to join our marketing team for the upcoming competition and event season!

This paid, hands-on internship is perfect for someone passionate about sports, social media, photography, videography, and storytelling. You'll have the opportunity to capture exciting moments, create engaging content, and help showcase our athletes, teams, and programs across multiple social media platforms.

From practices and competitions to performances and special events, you'll be right in the action, helping bring the Wolf Pack Athletics experience to life!

Key Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photo and video content at practices, competitions, games, performances, and special events.
• Assist with creating engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
• Film and edit short-form videos, including Instagram Reels, TikToks, athlete features, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Capture candid moments, athlete highlights, team celebrations, and event recaps.
• Organize and manage photo and video content for future marketing use.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative ideas that highlight our athletes, coaches, and programs.
• Assist with additional marketing and promotional projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, photography, videography, sports media, or related field
• Passionate about content creation
• Basic experience with photography, videography, and video editing.
• Familiarity/Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools 
• Creative, dependable, organized, and willing to take initiative
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and capturing live events.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends for competitions and events in the Greater Omaha area
• Knowledge of cheerleading, dance, basketball, or STUNT is a plus but not required

Internship Details

This is a paid seasonal internship running through May 2027, concluding after our busy competition and event season. Scheduling will be flexible based on event coverage needs, with some evenings and weekends required.

While this internship is seasonal, there is potential for continued employment beyond May 2027 for candidates who demonstrate strong performance, creativity, and initiative.

Compensation: Paid internship; compensation details to be discussed during the interview process.
