About the Role

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an internship opportunity for a limited-term, full-time summer position within our Municipal group at our De Pere, WI office.

 

Interns should expect the following from a summer internship experience with Mead & Hunt:

  • Exposure to projects and people in our municipal engineering group
  • Collaborate with project managers and colleagues on municipal construction projects that vary in size and scope while developing familiarity with the federal, state, and local design standards
  • Utilize technical software programs to analyze, prepare, and quality check client deliverables.
  • Field observations and data collection
  • Assist with preparation of technical reports and memos
  • Participation in technical and client meetings
  • Fun team-building activities that will allow you to network with professionals and interns alike
  • Interns will be expected to visit project sites for data collection as well as out-of-office meetings and events.

 

A valid driver’s license is required.

 

Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil engineering or a related field.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

  • Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Previous relevant internship experience
  • Coursework in civil engineering, construction management or closely related

Hourly Rate Range: $19.00 to $25.00 – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
