Internship Program Duration: May 17th, 2027- July 22nd, 2027 (Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 8 AM- 5 PM)

Job Description:  

Our team is currently seeking an AI and Automation Analyst in the Transformation department. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn from experienced HCM (Human Capital Management) professionals. Interns will be placed on the transformation team where data analytics and problem-solving with technical solutions are required. The position is hybrid and requires three days working from Compass Group’s Headquarters Office located in Charlotte, North Carolina and two days working remotely.  

  

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Analyze business processes, data, and employee experiences to identify opportunities where AI, automation, analytics, or other technology solutions can improve efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Build prototypes and proofs of concept using tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, ChatGPT, Power BI, and other AI or low-code technologies. 

  • Support the design and development of AI-enabled solutions, including AI assistants, agents, AI colleagues, automations, prototypes, and other technology-enabled capabilities. 

  • Support transformation projects and pilots from initial analysis and solution design through testing, implementation, and adoption. 

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, insights, opportunities, and potential areas for process improvement 

  • Develop reports, dashboards, analyses, and presentations that translate data and findings into clear business insights and recommendations. 

  • Test and evaluate AI solutions for accuracy, usability, reliability, and business value, documenting findings and recommending improvements.

  • Document processes, requirements, solution designs, test results, and lessons learned to support repeatable and scalable solutions.

  • Assist with special projects and emerging transformation priorities as business needs evolve.

 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or similar program with a minimum GPA of 3.0  

  • Capability to take direction and communicate clearly and effectively  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in using technology to solve business problems. 

  • Interest in artificial intelligence, generative AI, automation, data analytics, and emerging technologies. 

  • Ability to work independently as well as in partnership with team members  

  • Self-driven, proactive problem solver with great attention to detail  

  • Proficiency regarding time and meeting deadlines  

  • Experience or exposure to industry-leading automation tools and AI models like Co-Pilot and ChatGPT  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
