About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Cafe Assistant to join our team at Christian Faith. As a Cafe Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the cafe, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Your main goal will be to create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensure their satisfaction with our products and services. You will work closely with the Cafe Manager to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a cafe or food service environment
• Barista training or certification
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take their orders
• Prepare and serve food and beverages
• Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment
• Handle cash and card transactions
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

Skills:

As a Cafe Assistant, you will use your excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with customers and ensure their satisfaction. You will also use your organizational and time management skills to keep the cafe running smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, your attention to detail and ability to handle cash and card transactions will be essential to the success of the cafe. Finally, your knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices will ensure that our customers receive high-quality products in a clean and safe environment.
