The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented college student to support our U.S. People & Culture team.

Working directly with our U.S. People & Culture Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition coordination, employee onboarding, office operations, and employee experience. You will help manage the day-to-day processes that support our people and contribute to the smooth operation of a growing U.S. business.

What we expect you to own and run with:

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Coordination:

  • Coordinate candidate interviews, scheduling changes, and follow-up communications with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist with application reviews, recruiting trackers, and candidate pipeline updates as agreed with the Talent Acquisition team.

Onboarding & People Operations:

  • Support new-hire preparation, including onboarding schedules, calendar invitations, welcome materials, and checklists.
  • Coordinate approved IT equipment orders, shipments, inventory, and returns in partnership with internal teams and vendors.
  • Create and update non-confidential process guides, templates, tracking spreadsheets, and team resources.

Office Operations & Employee Experience

  • Support daily operations of our Chicago office, including supplies, deliveries, vendors, and general office coordination.
  • Assist with team visits, meetings, employee engagement activities, and company events, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve recurring administrative processes and support other People & Culture projects as assigned.

Which boxes you need to check:
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program. Studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Operations, or a related field are preferred.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with consistent follow-through.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative, clarify expectations, ask questions, and raise issues or mistakes promptly.
  • Good judgment and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and appropriate escalation.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams, and learning new systems.
  • Able to work in person at our downtown Chicago office for 12–16 hours per week across approximately 2–3 weekdays.

Preferred Experience
Participation in student organizations, campus employment, volunteer activities, event planning, or other roles demonstrating ownership and reliability.
Previous HR experience is not required.

What You'll Gain

Practical exposure to how recruiting, onboarding, employee experience, and office operations work together in a growing international company.

You will collaborate with colleagues across the business, receive direct coaching from the U.S. People & Culture Manager, and take ownership of meaningful operational responsibilities.

As you develop your skills, there may be opportunities to support additional projects based on performance and business needs.
