Avantis Investors, part of American Century Investments, is focused on helping clients achieve their investment goals through the delivery of broadly diversified, low-cost, efficient investment strategies. All our investment strategies are managed under a consistent investment philosophy based on financial science and use information in market prices and company financials to identify differences in expected returns among securities. 

Role Summary

Avantis is seeking curious, analytically minded intern to work with us on ETF portfolio analysis and/or sales. This role is ideal for currently enrolled undergraduate students with a graduation date in 2028. The deadline to apply is November 30, 2026.

• Location: this onsite position will be based out of our Los Angeles office.
• Program dates: June 2nd - August 6th (10 weeks)
• Work schedule: 40 hours/week - Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)

In this internship, you will...

• Work with the our portfolio management and/or sales teams analyzing ways to present our data to clients/prospects and sell products in a compelling way
• Participate in team meetings
• Assist with special projects

Here is what makes you stand out

• Passion for gaining experience within the finance industry and a strive to learn more about the investment industry including sales and portfolio management
• Strong analytical and research skills: ability to distill sophisticated information from various sources into clear, concise communications that may be distributed throughout other areas of the organization
• Ability to navigate and manipulate PowerPoint and Excel daily for work product management
• Some exposure to Tableau and/or other technical/data visualization platforms
• Strong communication skills both orally and written
• A current junior in college, graduating in Spring/Summer 2028

For California based candidates, the salary range for this role is $30/hour.
