Risk Shield Intern

About the Job 

In this role, you will support the Digital Resilience team in enhancing the Allianz Risk Shield (ARS) governance process through the development of GenAI-powered solutions. You will work closely with Security Champions and cross-functional teams to automate evidence creation, quality assurance, and reporting activities, helping ensure compliance with regulatory and information security requirements while improving efficiency and sustainability across Customer & Sales IT.

What you do

Project: GenAI tools for evidence creation and reporting

• Knowledge base: Build a machine-readable knowledge base (central repository) which includes several sources, prepared by the Security Champions team: ToD/ToE templates, control-to-evidence mapping (one evidence reusable for several controls) and click paths for screenshot creation
• Maintenance and Quality assurance: build a workflow for (additional controls, new assessments…) and regenerate the output. Add automated quality checks on evidence to be submitted: completeness, presence of all required data, and timeliness (younger than 12 months, creation date stated)
• Fill-in assistant: Develop a tool that creates or updates service-specific Test of Design/Test of Effectiveness documents and helps with creating screenshots, or re-uses them from team evidence folders and existing documents
• Reporting and Handover: Create sustainable service-level reports with Claude Code (skills or scripts) or as an AllianzGPT agent, for Automated Controls, Standard Controls and Quick Wins. Document tools, prompts and workflows so that CSI teams can use and maintain them after the project
• Stretch goals: Explore a team chatbot on CSI/LISO Confluence, Cookbook, TMC and ARS Connect pages, the Risk Shield SharePoint and Open Door protocols, and a tool to support issue handling.

Foundation: Global GRC (Governance Risk Compliance) process: Allianz Risk Shield

• Support the Security Champions team in preparing and coordinating Risk Shield cycles across CSI tribes and teams
• Assist with data verification and maintenance in tools such as ServiceNow, ADOIT and Presto
• Support evidence management and quality checks during the attestation and evidence phases and help the risk management lifecycle
• Gather requirements and feedback from CSI teams, and prepare briefing material for stakeholders

What you bring

• Currently enrolled at a university for the entire period of employment
• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Business Informatics, Data Science or a related field
• Strong interest in GenAI, in building practical tools with it and in information security, IT compliance and risk management; first experience with prompting or LLM-based tools
• Scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python) and basic Git/GitHub knowledge are a plus
• Basic understanding of regulatory frameworks and information security standards
• Structured, reliable and independent working approach, with a project mindset and a strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint)
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus
