About the Team
Come join the UX team designing Workday's financial products! We're the folks designing the tools that finance professionals use daily. From planning budgets, to managing spending, and understanding financial health, it's a complex world, but our job is to make it intuitive and user-friendly through smart design. We're a supportive and collaborative group passionate about tackling these challenges and making a real difference in the world of enterprise finance. We value working together, sharing ideas, and helping each other grow.About the Role
As a UX Design Intern on our team, you'll spend 6-months designing real experiences for our financial applications. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers to create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for features within our financial products. You won't be expected to know everything on day one. You'll be paired with a designer on the team who will help you get oriented, give regular feedback, and support your growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your UX skills, learn about the complexities of financial systems, and make a tangible impact by improving the tools that help businesses run smoothly. You'll be part of the design process from understanding the problem to delivering polished solutions, and you'll leave with real product work to show for it.

You have a good grasp of UX fundamentals, can create clear wireframes and user flows (experience with Figma is great!), you're curious about how AI tools are changing the way designers work, and you're excited by the challenge of designing for complex, impactful financial products.

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
